Classic Jeans
For more than a Century, women’s blue jeans were women’s blue jeans. Nothing fancy. Nothing whatsoever. The style subtly evolved, but the name remained the same. Originally made for men only, manufacturers like Levi Strauss noticed that hard working women enjoyed the fit and durability of their pants, too. Ever accommodating, they started producing denims with a little more room up top and an ever so gentle slope toward the knee and calf.
Women’s Classic jeans were born. Little did they know that they were producing an American standard of quality that would stand the test of time. Women’s Classic jeans are what every woman over 35 has grown up with. Classic fit, classic quality, classic jeans. What else can be said? Designer jeans entered with a bang in the late 70’s, but many women never got on board, staying with the tried and true classics, and the significant males in their lives were thankful! Classic jeans today may feature a bit of embellishment here and there, or they may come in the straightforward cut you grew up with.
